Discover the Molinaro’s Pizza Crust Kit at Costco! In this review, we’ll dive into the Molinaro’s Cauliflower Pizza Kit. My husband, always looking out for my keto cravings (though it’s not a long-term solution), surprises me with keto finds from the store. This kit includes two crusts, two sauce packets, and a convenient freezer ziplock bag.
At first, I wasn’t thrilled when my husband got me this a few months back due to its high net carbs per serving. Fast forward two months, a pizza craving struck, and guess what I found in the pantry? This cauliflower crust kit, still unspoiled and set to expire in a month!
The instructions are crystal clear, allowing you to whip up a delicious pizza in just under 15 minutes, from assembly to baking.
I’m a fan of pepperoni pizza, but I also had an open can of pineapple in the fridge, so I decided to throw that on there as well.
No need to pre-bake the crust or anything; simply spread the sauce and your choice of toppings, and pop it in the oven right away!
Why I loved the Molinaro pizza crust
I really enjoyed the included sauce. It was just the right amount, and I’m a fan of generous sauce on pizza. They didn’t hold back on the sauce quantity. Its flavor is quite reminiscent of Rao’s pizza sauce from Costco. Notably, it’s not overly sweet, which is a plus for me as I prefer my pizza sauce to have a savory taste.
The crust turned out delightfully crispy, devoid of any moisture. If you’ve ventured into cauliflower pizza-making, you’ll know it tends to be on the moist side and rarely achieves that satisfying crispiness. This crust, however, resembled the thin, crispy crust you’d find at your favorite pizzeria. Surprisingly, it didn’t carry that distinctive cauliflower taste, often described as resembling smelly socks. This is likely due to the composition of the crust, which includes cauliflower, potato starch, and rice flour—explaining both the crispiness and the absence of that cauliflower flavor.
If you’re in search of a quality gluten-free pizza crust, this one is definitely worth considering. However, it’s important to note that it isn’t a keto-friendly option and might not be the healthiest choice due to the inclusion of refined oils, like canola oil.

The suggested serving size is one-fifth of a slice (which feels a bit small for me). However, I confess I devoured the entire pizza while watching a movie. It was absolutely delicious. I couldn’t help but feel a twinge of guilt for polishing off the whole pizza, but it just goes to show how exceptional the crust was.
Upon opening, you’ll find a handy freezer bag included to store any leftover crusts and sauce you might not use. The crusts freeze and thaw perfectly well! The “best before” date extends approximately three months from the day you bought the crusts. The kit will cost you around 13 CAD
